Drainage Grid
 
The Drainage Grid is constructed like a short cattle grid and is optimised for strength and ability to handle flood and storm debris.
The spacing of the grid bars allows leg-room for assembly and maintenance, and provides an escape route for small animals.

All steel modular design for ease of transport, handling and installation.

The kerb frame includes reinforcing bars and fixing points for the grid / optional grating.

All steelwork is galvanised to BS 1461.

Standard pit dimensions; 300mm deep x 850mm long x any width from 2280mm in 740mm increments...
  Overall Dimensions: 300mm x 1050mm x 2380mm.

Optional Sump Frame can be supplied. Useful where a deeper sediment trap is required - saves on form-work

Optional Pedestrian Grating to BS 4592 can be supplied.

Design is compliant with BD37/88 - 80kN/m HA loading. No HB loading:...

Heavy duty versions for highway use and/or abnormal loads can be made to order.
Hedgehog friendly design.
A suitable drain is required: eg prefabricated road gully with a 150mm dia outlet or 160mm dia perforated land drain.
Requires a concrete base consistent with the existing road or CBR test.
